I am so happy that it's the weekend and can't believe that it's almost fall! Since I have recently adopted the capsule wardrobe, I am trying switch things up with my accessories. Here are my top picks for fall...
GOOD THINGS COME IN FIVE
Choosing a new pair of frames is not an easy task. Each year I think about upgrading my glasses but it seems like I can never make up my mind. Recently I decided to give Warby Parker's Home Try On program a whirl. The concept is simple. Pick out 5 frames (they ship for free!). Try them on within 5 days. Take photos (lots of them if you want) from the comfort of your own home. Wear them around the house or out on the town. Ask friends, family, co-workers, or random people on the street what they think. You can even post the pictures on Instagram for additional feedback using #WARBYHOMETRYON. Finally, decide on your favorite pair and order them. Here were my picks...

The past month I have been focusing on my business and brand. I have had the opportunity to attend several wonderful seminars, including this fabulous Photoshop class for beginners. It has always been on my bucket list to learn Photoshop. Not wanting to invest a ton into purchasing the Adobe program, I have been getting by with the program Pixelmator. Recently, Adobe released it's Creative Cloud, which allows you to subscribe to Photoshop and Lightroom for $9.99/month. They also offer a 30-day free trial. It was time to give it a try!
I downloaded the free trial, and although I have used Pixelmator extensively for photos editing, I was not sure where to begin. Enter the wonderful duo, Bri Emery (Designlovefest) and Angela Kohler (Angela and Ithyle). They have created this step by step tutorial for Photoshop, and best of all you don't have to get out of your pajamas. From Scaling, Templates, Headers, Animated GIF's, Mood Boards, and Masking, this 3.5 hour video takes you through it all! Once you start streaming the footage, you have 48 hours to complete all the sections. You will want to spend time on each session, so make sure you schedule an entire weekend to complete the course. Since completing the course, I have used the lessons to redesign my website, Facebook header, and Twitter header. I am eager to continue refining my skills with practice, practice, practice! If you are a blogger or Etsy shop owner, this class is a must. It is worth the time and investment in your business.
